Tips and Advice

Get Smart Now. You will find yourself looking for work. Many executives find themselves on the wrong side of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring. Or a new CEO comes in and wants his trusted team around him, and you are not part of that team. So now you must find new employment. How?

Use all the tools available to you, especially networking. Everyone talks about networking, but a pile of business cards won't be of much help in your job search. Most job seekers regret not developing strong networks while employed and the most effective networking builds mutually beneficial relationships over time.
